Our team has recently pivoted to focus on AI, startups and entrepreneurs so I am getting some requests for support on generating social content for Microsoft for Startups. All information for this request was provided in a creative brief, no footage was provided - only the copy was provided. I took elements of their branding package that was provided to me and mixed in my own creativity and copyright free stock footage.

This video is also on the “video” page but I think it is worth noting here as well. All of the animations, lower thirds, were custom made from scratch for this project. I studied the assets that Microsoft Reactor uses, the shapes, the colors, and read up on their documentation as well as Microsoft at large to make sure I was staying on brand. From there I was able to use my creativity and make something eye catching yet relevant to the developer audience. This promotion garnered a lot of views and tons of subscribers.
I Escaped - Sermon Bumper
Haven Worship Center
This is a custom made sermon bumper that acts as a transition between different parts of our live services. This project really stretched my creativity and abilities within After Effects. I definitely watched a lot of tutorial videos, read a lot of documentation and reddit blogs, and scratched my head for hours on end. This is the best way that I learn! I stepped up to the plate and delivered and learned a lot in the process.

This is another custom made bumper. Here I drew all of these scenes in procreate and exported the different layers into after effects where I animated them in in different ways. I also added an adjustment layer on top of all of the animation that made it look like it was playing back at around 15 frames per second giving it that stop motion look and feel. This was a fun project to work on, definitely outside of my typical scope and design sense.

Again this is a sermon bumper created for Haven Worship Center. This one is very simple but effective. The animation and sound design working together make it feel like a really robust piece. The most challenging part of this project was finding a place to start. I believe I made this in a matter of a couple hours after having worked on something totally different all week. Sometimes you just have to scratch everything and start over!
